Prioritize firm prosecution of career criminals. The right to bond ends when criminals commit another felony on pre-trial release - Ashley will pursue NO BOND to keep the community safer.

Pursue justice with honesty, fairness, and respect. Ashley will make decisions based on the strength of the evidence - which means working closely with law enforcement to ensure a case is solid from the start.

MEET ASHLEY
Ashley was born and raised in Wayne County. She graduated from Northeastern High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from IU East. Ashley graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law, magna cum laude, in 2015, and returned to Richmond.
Ashley spent a year in the private sector, and was hired as a Deputy Prosecutor in 2016. She was promoted to Chief Deputy Prosecutor in 2021. Ashley’s skills shine in the courtroom, where she has obtained guilty verdicts on many high-level felony cases, including Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Child Molesting, and high level drug and gun crimes. Ashley is passionate about victim advocacy and protecting victims’ rights, especially when it comes to crimes against children. She works closely with law enforcement, and presents a legal update for all law enforcement officers in the county each year. Ashley oversees the Wayne County Prosecutors Office Internship Program, and has supervised numerous high school, college, and law school students over the years.
Ashley serves as the Treasurer of the Wayne County Republican Party, Chair of the Wayne County Community Corrections Advisory Board, regularly contributes to the JACY House Multi-Disciplinary Case Review Team, and is an active member (and past Treasurer) of the Wayne County Bar Association.
Ashley married John Green in 2014. They live in Richmond with their two beagles, Rosie and Cowboy. Ashley and Rosie volunteer as a Certified Pet Therapy Team. John and Ashley love to try new restaurants, travel the United States, and watch the Cincinnati Reds.
